Association study of genetic variants in estrogen metabolic pathway genes and colorectal cancer risk and survival
AssociationN=1,765Shuwei Li et al.(2018)· Archives of Toxicology

A case-control study in Chinese population examining SNPs in estrogen metabolic pathway genes and colorectal cancer risk and survival. rs3760806 in SULT2B1 was significantly associated with colorectal cancer risk in both males (OR=1.38, 95% CI 1.15-1.66) and females (OR=1.38, 95% CI 1.13-1.68). Two SNPs in SULT1E1 (rs1238574 and rs3822172) were associated with poor progression-free and overall survival (HRs 1.24-1.53).

Traits studied:Colorectal cancer overall survivalColorectal cancer progression-free survivalColorectal cancer risk
