A risk assessment model of acute liver allograft rejection by genetic polymorphism of CD276
AssociationN=388Xiaobo Yu et al.(2019)· Molecular Genetics & Genomic Medicine

A case-control study of 388 liver transplant recipients identified genetic polymorphisms in CD276 and TREML2 associated with acute allograft rejection. SNPs rs2127015 (CD276), rs6915083 and rs7754593 (TREML2) were significantly associated with acute rejection, with rs2127015 T-allele carriers showing higher CD276 expression. A risk assessment model combining rs2127015 genotype and HBV infection status achieved 69.8% sensitivity and 63.4% AUC, stratifying recipients into low-, medium-, and high-risk groups with rejection incidence rates of 4.3-20.8%.

About TREML2

TREML2 is located in a gene cluster on chromosome 6 with the single Ig variable (IgV) domain activating receptors TREM1 (MIM 605085) and TREM2 (MIM 605086), but it has distinct structural and functional properties (Allcock et al., 2003 [PubMed 12645956]).[supplied by OMIM, Mar 2008]
